Regular check-ups are the simplest way to keep your teeth and gums healthy and to catch problems early, while they’re still straightforward to treat. At Sneinton Family Dental Centre on Colwick Road, your dentist examines your teeth, gums and soft tissues, looks for signs of decay and gum disease, and takes X-rays only when they’re needed. A routine examination falls under NHS Band 1 (£27.90).
How often you’re seen depends on your dental health — many adults come every six to twelve months, while others do better with more frequent visits. Keeping to a regular pattern means most issues are spotted long before they turn painful or costly.
